Cleaning of partial areas of the drinking water network of the Herborn municipal works

"We confirm with pleasure that you have been cleaning partial areas of our drinking water network for many years.

Up to now, pipes with DN 100 to DN 300 and with lengths up to 5,000 m have been cleaned. This was carried out with a hydromechanically working cleaning device (without chemicals) through which no other openings on the pipeline distance were necessary.

The following reasons were decisive for our rehabilitation measures:

Insufficient water flow rate.
Water engrossment from other supply systems was reduced.
Minimizing of the optical impurities at various flow velocities.
Reduction of the pump capacities.

After the cleanings, line resistances similar to newly installed pipelines were achieved. For us it was important that only short conveyor interruptions were necessary for the cleaning work.
